Neighbors Creating a Neighborhood
The West Broadway Neighborhood Association in South Boston, is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, acting as a unified voice to represent the concerns and interests of all our residents. We do this by planning events and programs that help neighbors get to know each other, and work with local police to make our neighborhood safe. We represent neighbors interests in residential and business developments, and are continuously looking for ways to beautify our neighborhood.

The WBNA in Action
Intersection of west broadway & dorchester ave
The WBNA has been working with City officials and other stakeholders to get this perilous intersection redesigned for the safety and enjoyment of our neighbors. Through our advocacy and fundraising, the intersection has been reconfigured. We have added traffic signage to ensure slow streets and safe crossing.

The WBNA is helping to beautify our neighborhood, by planting numerous trees, creating green spaces, daffodil gardens, and parks.

The WBNA is thrilled to announce that a total of 95 artistic banners have now been installed on 65 city light poles throughout our neighborhood!
The banners depict five stylized architectural graphic designs of selected local landmarks.
We are grateful for all the community and City of Boston support during this process working though the necessary permitting & approvals, and graphic design focus groups to finally bring this project to fruition!
